Four Days of Morton Feldman in Amsterdam
This week the extraordinary Muziekgebouw aan ‘t IJ, home of Holland’s finest contemporary music ensembles and the stunning Holland Festival, will honor one of the greatest composers of the 20th century: Morton Feldman. Spearheaded by the renowned interpreters of Feldman, the Ives Ensemble, this four day festival will focus on the many different aspects of his works.
This is the first festival of its kind in the Netherlands since his death 20 years ago. For the complete program visit the web site of the Muziekgebouw.
