50 Cent interviewed by Financial Times
Resonance FM presenter and Financial Times contributor Ben Thompson recently interviewed the American mythical rap star and new business mogul 50 Cent. Fifty, known in real life as Curtis Jackson, proves excited about the prospect of being interviewed by the business journal, confessing he often read the Wall Street Journal before getting into music, and showing a talent to financially profit from his personal tragedies.
Thompson, who has written the book ‘Ways of Hearing‘ (Orion), has used this rare opportunity to unveil a candid Jackson, without the stereotypical ego-swelling one has to endure in a traditional hip hop interview. The FT delivers another splendid article in their excellent ‘Arts & Weekend‘ section.
