This Berlin based arts venue has so far been off my radar, but I have had many examples of myopia in the past, so nothing new there. audioculture.org is a blog with news on contemporary music, with a focus on experimental beats, electronic music and sound art. It supports an ongoing series of concerts and performances in the Netherlands. Amongst the artists that have performed here are Philip Jeck, Icarus, Alog, Kode9, Flying Lotus, Hudson Mohawke, Rustie, Jacob Kirkegaard, Peverelist, the Bug, Oren Ambarchi, Stephen O’Malley, Digital Mystikz, BJ Nilsen and Machinefabriek.
audioculture.org is edited by Juha van ‘t Zelfde. It was inspired by the book ‹Audio Culture›, by Christoph Cox and Daniel Warner.
