Worm presents Kenneth Goldsmith, UbuWeb

A last minute announcement of something special: tonight the forward thinking people of Worm have invited Ubu’s Kenneth Goldsmith to talk about the online archive of the avant-garde he founded in 1996. As Worm curator Peter Taylor states in an e-mail, UbuWeb initially was «a sort of experimental destination and laboratory for various forms of poetry, (and) has blossomed into a premier educational resource and essential location for all forms related to the avant-garde.»

The artist, critic and Web-provocateur Goldsmith will be in Rotterdam tonight to discuss his work and present some of UbuWeb’s embarrassment of riches.The doors open at 8.30 pm, and the programme starts at 9. Entrance fee is a small 4 euros. Visit the site for directions and more information about future programmes.
