A Warp Records night at the Bimhuis

Flying Lotus live in Los Angeles

Already announced previously, but with the recent upgrade of this blog this event will be listed in the calendar. A hugely anticipated event by anyone familiar with the music of Flying Lotus and Hudson Mohawke. It will hopefully alert some careful followers of the Warp label, which has had an enormous impact on the development and reception of experimental electronic music. And after Squarepusher, Aphex Twin and Autechre in the beginning, Chris Clark, Prefuse 73 and Battles in recent years, now the Sheffield based label is putting out the imploding rhythms and appropriated game sounds of Hudson Mohawke (Scotland) and Flying Lotus (U.S.).

Beat Dimensions at the Bimhuis and Flexbar

We are very happy to announce their Bimhuis debut in a special Warp edition of Beat Dimensions on Friday 2 May. Organiser and host Cinnaman will add beats in the bar, and might be joined by fellow Herald of Change Mike Slott will be joined by Aardvarck. Check out an this interview with Hudson Mohawke, Mike Slott and Cinnaman by Samurai FM.
