It has been seven years since listeners in the Netherlands have been treated to the subtle poetry of drummer and guitarist Oren Ambarchi. Ambarchi will be playing a one-off date on 6 July, on his European tour with Grave Temple bandmate Stephen O’Malley. Both musicians enjoy legendary status in the drone and noise music circuits – especially O’Malley with his band Sunn O))) – but Ambarchi is known to a larger audience through his albums on the English Touch label (also known for such renowned artists as Ryoji Ikeda, Philip Jeck and Fennesz). The evening will be kicked off by Machinefabriek.
